Job summary

Bank of Singapore, a subsidiary of OCBC Group in Singapore, seeks a Vice President Data Analyst to govern the enterprise Power BI platform and drive scalable analytics. You will lead governance, optimize models, and ensure secure, compliant deployment across reports in a regulated banking environment.

You will own SQL scripts, integrate Starburst and AWS data sources, and push automation via Python and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Power BI governance across enterprise platform.
• Strong SQL scripting for data-rich reports.
• Experience with data modeling and semantic layers.
• Knowledge of Starburst/Trino and AWS data services.
• Automation of report deployment using Python scripts.
• Experience with Jenkins and source control workflows.
• Ability to translate business needs into analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Govern and maintain the enterprise Power BI platform and capacity.
• Lead development practices for reports, dataflows, and dashboards.
• Write and optimize SQL for multi-source data (Starburst, AWS, on-prem).
• Maintain controlled report deployment with Python automation and CI/CD.
• Monitor platform reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Collaborate with data engineering, security, governance, and users.
