Job summary

SimplyGo Pte. Ltd. is hiring an Engineer II, IT Infrastructure with a focus on network engineering to ensure reliability, security, and performance of the organisation’s network across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will design and manage connectivity between data centres and AWS, configure firewalls and security controls, monitor performance, and participate in incident response and DR planning. Hybrid work options and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 years' experience in network engineering/operations for enterprise or large-scale hybrid environments.
Hands-on experience with AWS networking (VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, VPN, Direct Connect); familiarity with Azure/GCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) in 24x7 production environments.
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware/software; manage user access and authentication systems.
Design, implement, and manage connectivity between on-premise data centres and AWS cloud environments.
Configure and manage firewalls, security groups, NACLs, network segmentation, and zoning.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot outages, latency, and bottlenecks across cloud and on-premises.
Participate in DR exercises, CAB changes, and incident response.
