Responsibilities include liaising with clients and suppliers, supporting project integration, and troubleshooting technical issues. Responsibilities

• Participate in mechanical engineering design and preparation of bills of materials.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to address technical queries.

Job description

Participate in mechanical engineering design, calculations, and preparation of bills of materials.

Liaise with customers and suppliers to address technical queries and ensure alignment with project requirements.

Contribute to the preparation and submission of design and construction documents.

Conduct technical reviews and provide clarification on engineering matters with clients and vendors.

Coordinate design efforts with other engineering disciplines to ensure project integration.

Support construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases of projects.

Identify the company’s scope of work within each assigned project.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during project execution.

Monitor and track the status of document submissions.

Perform basic drafting work and guide drafters to ensure accurate drawings.

Requirements:

• A strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC system calculations, including cooling capacity, pressure drop, and duct sizing.
• Experienced in HVAC and duct installation.
• Familiar with creating and interpreting P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), air flow diagrams, and DID (Ducting & Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Basic understanding of pipe sizing, selection, and installation.
• Basic knowledge of fire suppression systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for drawing and design.
• Competent in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
