Job summary

YINSHENG ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Senior Project Engineer to support project planning and site coordination, study drawings, and ensure quality and safety on site. You will submit samples and shop drawings, monitor progress, handle quantities, and prepare monthly progress claims and payment certificates.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required, with a willingness to learn and work 5.5 days per week.

Qualifications

• Possess adequate qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of industrial codes, standards, and procedures
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, etc
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and organise
• Willing to learn; training will be provided
• Able to work 5.5 days per week

Responsibilities

• Assists the Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer in project planning and coordinates and oversees all work on the site.
• Study drawing, plans, specifications, and scope of work.
• Responsible for the submission of material samples and shop drawings.
• Monitoring the construction work progress, materials, plant, and equipment.
• Verification of material requisition and taking off quantities/site measurement.
• Prepare progress claims to the main contractor on a monthly basis.
• Prepare payment certificate and verify sub-contractor work progress.
• Ensure quality standards and Safety Requirements are adhered to.
• Work closely with the project team and resolve all technical issues.
• Familiar with calculations with heating/cooling load, equipment sizing (MV/ AHU), Electrical load, and external static pressure calculation
• Maintain, manage, and document according to ISO Standards.
• Able to execute multiple tasks and projects
• Other related duties, as assigned
