Job summary

APAX SOLUTIONS PTE LTD, Singapore, seeks a hands-on Project Engineer to manage and supervise mechanical works at project sites. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and adherence to timelines.

The role covers mechanical design on duct-related work, reviewing drawings and specs, and preparing documentation and reports. Diploma/degree in mechanical/electrical engineering required; strong communication and proactive issue resolution

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in construction or semiconductor industry is preferred.
• Strong project management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, analytical and able to resolve site issues effectively.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and related engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical works at project sites.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to schedule.
• Perform mechanical design on duct related work.
• Review engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Prepare project documentation, reports and engineering records.
• Assist with material coordination, site inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the reporting manager.
