Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the Project Delivery, SEA, reporting to the HVAC team.

You will help develop customer proposals, project plans, and document engineering designs with guidance, while coordinating with stakeholders to identify requirements and resources. Responsibilities include CAD-driven drawings and schematics, cost estimation, and supporting handover processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in built environment (e.g. electrical/mechanical/mechatronics engineering).
• Interest in building management systems/thermodynamics.
• Experience with CAD is beneficial.
• Available for a full-time internship for 6 months.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Motivated to challenge status quo and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize components and models; develop drawings and schematics (3D modelling of finished goods, tooling).
• Analyze blueprints and customer documents to identify requirements.
• Generate cost estimations based on project needs.
• Support project findings, trainings, closing and handover processes.
• Act as liaison between internal and external project stakeholders.
