Job summary

Viatris Singapore is seeking a seasoned HR Director to lead the HR function, partner with Site Leadership Team, drive a business transition, embed robust HR practices, and foster a high-performance culture. This position reports to the Regional HR Leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in an HR leadership role within a manufacturing environment in Singapore.
• Proven experience managing industrial relations and union matters in Singapore.
• In-depth knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and statutory requirements.
• Background in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or large-scale manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated success in team management and leadership during organisational transitions.
• Strategic thinker with strong operational agility.
• Expertise in manpower planning, cost control, and HR metrics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Effective coaching and influencing skills.
• High integrity, resilience, and ability to navigate complex HR challenges.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to site leadership, aligning people strategy with business goals.
• Lead HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and workforce development.
• Drive manpower planning, cost optimisation, and workforce analytics.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
• Manage union engagement and industrial relations, particularly during and following the business transition.
• Coach managers and employees on HR best practices to build a high-performance and compliant work culture.
• Lead employee engagement, retention strategies, and organisational development initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the local HR team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
• Collaborate with local and regional teams to ensure consistent execution of HR strategies.
