Qualifications

  • 2–3 years regional HRBP experience; total HR 5+ years in MNC.
  • Familiar with HR compliance, labor laws, safety regulations.
  • Travel to Bangladesh occasionally; annual trip expected.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused professional to serve as a strategic HR Business Partner by aligning human resource practices with organizational goals. This role ensures effective workforce management, HR processes, and employee engagement aligned with best practices. The position also plays a pivotal role in regional HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development. The objective is to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture that supports business growth, enhances workforce capabilities, and maintains adherence to local labor regulations and industry standards.

This position requires occasional business travel to Bangladesh, approximately once a year or as required by business needs. Candidates applying for this position should be comfortable with this travel requirement.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
  • Serve as the primary HRBP forSingapore & Bangladeshoperations, ensuring seamless workforce planning, employee relations, and HR initiatives tailored to the needs of the two countries.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and offboarding.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Handle payroll processing with vendors, benefits administration, and HR systems (HRIS, ATS, etc.).
  • Support the team in general and ad hoc tasks
HR Business Partnering & Employee Engagement
  • Work closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with company goals.
  • Provide guidance on talent development, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and high-performance culture.
Talent Management & Performance
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, working with hiring managers to attract top talent.
  • Oversee performance review cycles, compensation planning, and career development programs.
  • Support training and upskilling initiatives tailored to industry needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
  • At least 2-3 yearsof regional HR business partnering experience with a minimum of 5 years of overall HR experience in MNC environment
  • Familiarity with HR compliance standards, safety regulations, and relevant labor laws.
  • Proficiency in SAP, payroll systems, and performance management tools.
  • Ability to start work within short notice is highly advantageous.
