Job summary

HTX, Singapore's Science and Technology agency, seeks an experienced Human Performance Scientist to advance officer performance optimisation through physiology, biomechanics, and data analyses. You will design studies, analyze results, and present findings to inform injury prevention and recovery strategies for the Home Team.

Ideal candidates hold a science degree with 2+ years in lab-based human performance research, wearables, and data software, and can work independently while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field.
• At least two years of professional experience.
• Experience with lab equipment for physiological data collection.
• Strong biosensor tech and data software ability.
• Excellent critical thinking and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Recruit Home Team officers and civilians for human subjects research; obtain informed consent.
• Write IRB protocols and manage approvals and modifications.
• Identify and procure lab equipment; maintain SOPs for equipment.
• Interact with subjects to collect physiological and performance data.
• Prepare experimental preparation, testing, and data organization.
• Perform data management and statistical analyses.
• Demonstrate scientific writing; assist with reports and publications.
• Develop and write research proposals.
• Follow established standing operating procedures.
