The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for the role of Research Assistant with the Heat Resilience & Performance Centre (HRPC), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The role spans lab and field work, data management, analysis, and reporting, collaborating with physiologists, clinicians, data scientists, and engineers to address climate-related health challenges.

We welcome candidates with or without direct heat health research experience who are motivated to learn;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one or more of the listed fields.
• Demonstrated interest in heat health, human performance, or translational research.
• Willingness to learn and apply scientific methods across lab and field settings.

Responsabilités

• Develop and refine research ideas with Principal Investigators and teams.
• Conduct literature searches, summaries, and identify gaps.
• Support design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative studies.
• Run laboratory-based studies including climatic chamber experiments and wet lab analysis.
• Assist field data collection in real-world settings.
• Manage, clean, and analyse research data.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations; contribute to manuscripts.
