Job summary

CAREER TREND PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an HSSE professional to support the Head of HSSE in managing safety, health, security and environmental compliance for the plant.

You will coordinate the HSSE Committee and schedule site inspections across operations. You will review inspections, follow up on corrective actions, prepare HSSE data and participate in trainings and risk assessments. The role requires strong knowledge of WSH regulations, ISO 14001/45001, and the ability to work with

Qualifications

• Minimum WSH Level B certification.
• Preferably Confined Space Assessor and Work-at-Height Manager.
• Experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and applicable legal requirements.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, independent and outcome-driven.
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments.
• Possess strong organizational and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of HSSE in managing workplace safety, health, security and environmental compliance for the plant.
• Serve as a member of the HSSE Committee and coordinate/schedule site inspections.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections to ensure safety procedures are properly implemented and adhered to; monitor, review and follow up on corrective actions from inspections and audits.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with ISO management systems and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain HSSE data, reports and dashboards for monthly, quarterly and yearly submissions.
• Conduct Safety Induction Training and other WSH-related in-house training for employees and contractors.
• Review and implement Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures as needed.
• Liaise with statutory bodies, contractors and stakeholders on WSH matters.
• Promote a strong safety culture and support continual workplace improvement initiatives.
• Update safety records in internal systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of HSSE.
