Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Safety role to implement and maintain workplace safety policies, monitor regulatory compliance, and conduct regular inspections. The candidate will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and preparation of reports to support improvements in safety performance.

The position also covers training, audits, documentation, and ongoing monitoring of safety metrics to ensure a safe workplace for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain workplace safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Monitor compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Develop and recommend corrective and preventive actions to eliminate risks.
• Perform risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and hazard identification activities.
• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Prepare incident investigation reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Track and monitor closure of safety actions and findings.
• Conduct safety inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Organize and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
• Maintain training records and competency documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local MOM safety regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
• Support internal and external safety audits and inspections.
• Maintain safety documentation, permits, records, and reports.
• Monitors statutory certifications, licenses, and permits related to safety.
• Track key safety metrics such as incident rates, near misses, and corrective actions.
• Provide regular updates to management on safety performance
