Job summary

ARUN ENERGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive HSE Engineer in Singapore to develop and monitor workplace safety and environmental management systems. The role emphasizes compliance with the WSH Act, risk assessments, audits, and driving a strong safety culture across operations.

The candidate will conduct incident investigations, organize safety inductions and toolbox talks, and support contractor safety management. 2+ years’ relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a diploma or degree in OH&S, environmental science, engineering or related field.
• Experience implementing and auditing HSE systems in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methods and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH Act and MOM requirements.
• Promote safety culture through engagement with staff and contractors.
• Conduct RA, JSA, and HIRA and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform inspections, audits, and safety observations with follow-up actions.
• Investigate incidents and prepare root-cause analyses and reports.
