Job summary

TOP ELECTRICAL & ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and oversee workplace safety at project sites in Singapore. The role requires coordinating with managers, engineers, and clients to ensure compliance with WSH legislation and internal safety standards.

The candidate will conduct site inspections, prepare RA/SWP/PTW documents, and lead safety briefings and inductions. Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC or equivalent in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Valid WSH Coordinator training qualification recognised for the applicable role.
• 1–3 years of relevant safety experience in workplace, construction, or project environments.
• Familiar with Singapore WSH legislation, risk assessments, SWPs, and PTW systems.
• Able to prepare safety documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Good communication and coordination skills with workers, supervisors, and clients.
• Willing to travel to project sites and work in industrial environments.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement workplace safety and health procedures per WSH legislation and company requirements.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts or conditions.
• Prepare, review, and maintain RA, SWP, method statements, and PTW documents.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions for employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor workers' compliance with site safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, clients, and main contractors on safety matters.
• Assist in incident and near-miss reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor and follow up on safety observations and corrective action reports.
• Ensure workers possess required safety training and site access approvals.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and training records.
• Support safety audits, client inspections, and regulatory inspections as needed.
• Perform other safety-related duties assigned by management.
