As an early-stage enterprise infrastructure software company, building strong, scalable people foundations is critical to our growth. This role will primarily own HR Operations and act as a hands-on People/HR Business Partner to our Singapore and Pan-ASEAN teams, while also managing day-to-day office administration. There is some involvement in recruiting support, but this is not the primary focus of the role.
We are looking for someone who can build and run solid HR processes, be a trusted partner to managers and employees, and keep the office running smoothly as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Own end-to-end HR operations, including employee lifecycle management — onboarding, employee changes, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Administer employee benefits, leave administration, and company HR policies.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with Finance and external service providers.
- Support employment pass applications and renewals together with external providers where required.
- Ensure HR practices and documentation comply with applicable Singapore employment requirements.
- Continuously improve HR processes, templates, and systems to support a growing organization.
HR Business Partnering
- Serve as a trusted HR point of contact for managers and employees across Singapore and Pan-ASEAN teams.
- Advise managers on people matters, including performance issues, team structure, and day-to-day HR questions.
- Support performance review and compensation review processes.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and internal communication.
- Help build a strong, high-performance, collaborative startup culture.
Office Administration
- Manage day-to-day office administration, including vendor coordination, supplies, and facilities needs.
- Organize company events, team activities, and office logistics.
- Serve as the main point of contact for general office and administrative queries.
- Support ad hoc administrative projects as the company scales.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Own the overall onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the employee’s first 90 days.
- Design and maintain structured onboarding programs and checklists.
- Coordinate with Business Operations and hiring managers to ensure employees are properly equipped, introduced, and ramped.
- Monitor new-hire experience and identify areas for improvement.
- Support recruiting for select roles as needed, working closely with hiring managers.
- Help coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication.
- Assist with compensation benchmarking and offer preparation when required.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Business Partnering, or a related generalist HR role.
- Strong hands-on experience managing employee lifecycle processes, HR documentation, and compliance.
- Experience acting as an HRBP or trusted advisor to managers on people matters.
- Comfortable managing office administration and day-to-day operational needs.
- Good understanding of Singapore HR and employment practices.
- Experience working across multiple Pan-ASEAN markets is preferred.
- Some exposure to recruiting or talent acquisition is a plus, but not the primary focus of this role.
- Strong organizational skills and comfortable working in an early-stage company with limited structure and high ownership.
- Mandarin capability is helpful but not required.
Ideal Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
- A strong HR generalist and operations person first, with some recruiting exposure as a bonus.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning HR processes end-to-end.
- Commercially minded and able to understand business priorities.
- Highly proactive and able to work independently.
- A natural point of contact that employees and managers trust.
What Success Looks Like in the First 6–12 Months
- Establish scalable, well-documented core HR Operations processes.
- Build trusted HRBP relationships with managers across Singapore and Pan-ASEAN teams.
- Create a consistent and professional onboarding experience.
- Ensure smooth, well-run day-to-day office administration.
- Improve employee experience and engagement across the team.
- Provide reliable recruiting support where needed, without this becoming the primary workload.
