A leading semiconductor company in Singapore is seeking an HR Manager to oversee compensation and benefits compliance, training, and development. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in a managerial capacity, preferably within manufacturing, and a degree in HR Management. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Singaporean employment laws are crucial. The position offers opportunities to drive HR projects and continuous improvement practices.
Oversee and be responsible to ensure compliance to all legal statutory regulations and head quarter’s requirements in C&B function e.g. MOM and employee related, RBA etc .
Ensure competitiveness in compensation with benchmarking with companies in manufacturing/ contract manufacturing/ semicon industries.
Plan and oversee that the yearly merit increment and appraisal process is executed and completed timely.
Propose competitive compensation package for salary adjustment including promotion and upgrade cases.
Execute bonus planning proposal and oversee the payout activities are done in accordance to guideline and approved budget.
Drive and participate in annual budgeting exercise.
Maintain current knowledge on market issues and changes in government regulations affecting Company compensation and benefits system.
Develop and maintain HR related procedures and document for this process.
HRI and HRMC Liaison.
Drive or implement continuous improvement practices and HR projects in the organization.
Provide guidance to HR Administrator in aspect of Training & Development
Oversee the training and development needs of employees to enhance overall skills and career development with the aim of attaining business objectives.
Source, recommend programs and identify training needs analysis using the competency model.
Act as an internal consultant to build and facilitate the implementation of learning and development solutions.
Degree holder preferably in HR Management.
Minimum 5 years in managerial capacity and preferably in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations, HR best practices, C&B analysis and training related function.
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
Meticulous, flexible, open-minded and possesses positive attitude.
Hands-on and be able to engage the teams.
Knowledge and experience in handling Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements is an advantage.
