Job description

    This role is for one of Weekday's clients. You will join the Human Resources team as an HR Governance & Compliance Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all HR practices, policies, and procedures comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards. You should have hands-on experience in grievance handling, audits, policy writing, and HR governance frameworks. Your role will involve fostering a culture of compliance, transparency, and fairness, while also driving continuous improvement in HR processes.Your key responsibilities will include implementing and monitoring HR governance frameworks, conducting reviews of HR processes, partnering with legal and compliance teams, and staying updated on employment laws and best practices. You will act as the first point of contact for employee grievances, develop grievance redressal procedures, work on conflict resolution, and maintain documentation of grievance cases.You will collaborate with external auditors during HR audits, identify areas of risk in HR processes, and develop action plans to mitigate risks. You will also draft, review, and update HR policies, ensure policy communication and consistency, train employees on policies, and monitor policy effectiveness.Collaboration with HR business partners, managers, and senior leadership is essential to promote a culture of compliance. You will prepare reports on HR compliance, grievance trends, and audit findings for senior management. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, 3+ years of HR governance experience, knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and audit processes, excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.,
