Job summary

Tencent Singapore is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist & Culture Intern to join our team. You will support onboarding, culture initiatives, training operations, and HR data management while collaborating with global teams in English and Mandarin.

This internship offers hands-on experience across HR operations, culture development, and employee engagement, with immediate or December 2026 start options, in a fast-paced tech environment at Tencent’s Singapore office.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology.
• Available to start immediately or from December 2026.
• Strong interest in HR management, organizational culture, and employee relations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Positive attitude, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for meetings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Participate in onboarding new employees and assist with seamless transitions.
• Contribute to planning and executing employee engagement and culture-building activities.
• Assist in training operations including liaising with stakeholders and logistics.
• Maintain and update HR databases, employee records, and org charts.
• Support in gathering HR metrics and reporting.
• Prepare internal communications materials like EDMs and posters.

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Generalist & Culture Intern to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting our human resources and culture initiatives. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in various aspects of HR operations and culture development where you will have exposure to co‑creating various employee engagement related activities during your internship with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition for them in the organization as well as offboarding activities.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement and culture‑building initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive work environment including team‑building activities, local festivals, wellness programs, and recognition events.
• Assist in training operations including the liaison with internal and external stakeholders, training administration and logistics preparation and facilitation.
• Play an active role in maintaining and updating HR databases, employee records, and organizational charts.
• Assist in gathering HR metrics and data to support reporting and analysis of HR trends and performance.
• Prepare internal communications material including but not limited to EDMs and posters.

Who We Look For

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Prior HR internship experience would be a plus.
• Available to start immediately or from December 2026.
• Strong interest in HR management, organizational culture, and employee relations.
