Job summary

Tencent International Service Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist & Culture Intern to support HR operations and culture initiatives. You will assist onboarding, engagement activities, training logistics, and HR data maintenance while engaging with global teams in English and Mandarin.

The role offers exposure to employee engagement projects, onboarding/offboarding processes, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, or related field.
• Available to start immediately or December 2026.
• Strong interest in HR management and organizational culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Positive, adaptable, eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in onboarding new employees and onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Contribute to planning and executing employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
• Assist in training operations including liaison with stakeholders, administration and logistics.
• Maintain and update HR databases, employee records, and org charts.
• Gather HR metrics and support reporting and analysis of HR trends.
• Prepare internal communications material including EDMs and posters.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Generalist & Culture Intern to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting our human resources and culture initiatives. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of HR operations and culture development where you will have exposure to co-creating various employee engagement related activities during your internship with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition for them in the organization as well as offboarding activities.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement and culture-building initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive work environment including team-building activities, local festivals, wellness programs, and recognition events.
• Assist in training operations including the liaison with internal and external stakeholders, training administration and logistics preparation and facilitation.
• Play an active role in maintaining and updating HR databases, employee records, and organizational charts.
• Assist in gathering HR metrics and data to support reporting and analysis of HR trends and performance.
• Prepare internal communications material including but not limited to EDMs and posters.

Who We Look For

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Prior HR internship experience would be a plus.
• Available to start immediately or from December 2026.
• Strong interest in HR management, organizational culture, and employee relations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Positive attitude, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin is required, as the role regularly involves participating in meetings and reviewing written materials in both languages with global teams and with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders at our headquarters in China.
