Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer for High Performance Computing in Singapore. You will lead pre-sales efforts, architect HPC solutions, and drive end-to-end deployment of TPU-based workloads across APAC.

The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, partners, and Google's product teams to deliver scalable, efficient AI/ML infrastructure. You will translate customer needs into practical cloud architectures, perform workload profiling, and optimize performance on AI accelerator

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience with cloud-native or HPC infrastructure in a customer-facing pre-sales, solutions architecture, or deployment engineering role.
• Experience developing, deploying, and orchestrating distributed AI/ML workloads using frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX, vLLM, or SGLang) and schedulers (Kubernetes or Slurm) on AI accelerator hardware.
• Experience with Linux host software, cluster control planes, and data center infrastructure integration (compute, networking, storage).

Responsibilities

• Drive pre-sales technical strategy and land large-scale Google Cloud TPU deployments across APAC.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor on architecture and integration strategies across TPU software stack and customer environments.
• Guide customers through design, turn-up, and operational readiness including telemetry and maintenance workflows.
• Conduct workload profiling, migration, and optimization for training/inference on TPU hardware topologies.
