Job summary

The Garcha Group in Singapore is hiring for housekeeping roles across its boutique hotels managed in collaboration with Marriott. Responsibilities include room status updates, housekeeping checklists, and ensuring clean, welcoming guest rooms.

Fluency in English and reliable attendance are essential for guest satisfaction. We seek candidates with 1–3 years in hospitality, a Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent, and familiarity with Marriott systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant hospitality experience.
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of Marriott Global System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter status of rooms cleaned.
• Complete checklists to report cleanliness and condition of each assigned area. Complete required housekeeping paperwork.
• Identify room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room. Inspect guest rooms after being cleaned by Housekeeper.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
• On time and at work when scheduled and in proper uniform.
• Any other duties / tasks as requested by management.

Other Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification in any field.
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues is highly preferrable.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry.
• Required skills: Opera PMS/Cloud, Marriott Global System, Hotel Housekeeping Experience, Diligent, Trustworthy, Articulate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
