Job summary

Frasers Property Limited is hiring to manage day-to-day housekeeping operations, supervise staff, and control department expenses. You will hire or discharge, train new employees, audit work, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure rooms and public areas meet service standards.

Key duties include supplier selection, inventory control, pest control, and resolving guest complaints while fostering a diverse and inclusive work culture. Leadership and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years housekeeping supervisory experience.
• Independent with strong leadership to lead the team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that rooms are cleaned to company standards.
• Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen, and uniform.
• Organise inventories with Accounts and general store for linen, uniform and fixed assets.
• Organise pest eradication activities and develop housekeeping procedures.
• Prepare reports for management information.
• Assist in purchasing and selection of housekeeping suppliers.
• Attend to and resolve guest complaints.
• Organise on-the-job training and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Recommend recruitment of new personnel.
• Conduct daily inspection of public areas, staff canteen, resting area and employees’ locker rooms.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and public areas with maintenance.
• Establish cordial relationship with long-staying guests.

You will be responsible to manage day-to-day running of housekeeping operations and supervise all housekeeping employees, has the authority to hire or discharge, plan and assign work assignments, give training for newly recruited employees, audit and inspect housekeeping personal work assignment and requisition supplies. Take care of the expenses controlling for the department.
