Job summary

The Garcha Group is seeking a seasoned housekeeping leader to oversee housekeeping operations across its hotels in Singapore. You will supervise daily shift operations, coordinate with Engineering, manage room readiness and inventories, and uphold cleanliness standards across all guest areas.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, staff training experience, and a solid grasp of SOPs/LSOPs with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service while managing departmental costs and staff

Qualifications

• Experience in managing housekeeping operations in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication with Front Desk, Engineering and staff.
• Proven ability to train and supervise staff and inspectors.
• Understanding of SOPs/LSOPs and cost control practices.

Responsibilities

• Communicates guest room status to Front Desk in a timely manner.
• Works with Engineering on guestroom maintenance needs.
• Supervises the housekeeping schedule and stock inventories.
• Plans staff allocations and assigns work to optimise operations.
• Ensures supplies, equipment and uniforms are available.
• Supports and supervises guestroom and public space inspections.
• Ensures staff understand duties and follow up accordingly.
• Oversees budgeting and cost control for the department.
