Job summary

Banyan Tree Mandai Rainforest Resort in Singapore is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant / Supervisor to uphold the brand’s exceptional cleanliness standards across guest and public areas. You will lead a team to maintain high cleanliness levels while ensuring safety and service excellence.

The role requires 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar capacity within a luxury property, plus professional hospitality certification and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in Hospitality / Hotel Management or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a property of similar standing.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and, where necessary, undertake cleaning and maintenance of public areas and guest spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and guidelines in line with resort policies and regulations.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and minimize wastage.
• Supervise, guide and mentor a team of housekeeping staff.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Housekeeping Attendant / Supervisor to be part of the team in Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that our Resort meets the exceptional standards of cleanliness which is expected of our brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations: Oversee and where necessary, undertake the cleaning and maintenance of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, and other common spaces. Such tasks include but are not limited to sanitizing, dusting, cleaning and other related duties.
• Safety and Compliance: As part of the role, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and guidelines. This includes internal Resort policies as well as any statutory regulations.
• Supply and Inventory Management: Monitor and manage our inventory of cleaning supplies. You will need to work with the team to ensure that supplies are adequate and to minimize wastage.
• Team Supervision: Supervise, guide and mentor a team housekeeping staff.

Job Requirements
