Job summary

ASIA JDL PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled cook with Chinese cuisine experience to join our kitchen team. You will prepare, cook and serve a variety of dishes in line with menus, assist in creating new dishes, and help maintain stock and supplier relationships.

The role requires creativity in food presentation, strong commitment to cleanliness and safety, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak times. Prior culinary qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Ability to present dishes creatively and appealingly.
• Knowledge of menu development and basic cost control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve a variety of items according to menus.
• Assist in creating new dishes and menus.
• Assist with inventory and managing suppliers.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
