Job summary

The Sheraton Towers Singapore Hotel is seeking a Security Officer to uphold the safety of guests, associates and property. You will guard designated posts, respond to incidents and ensure compliance with house rules across the premises.

Responsibilities include patrolling, surveillance, intelligence gathering, and defusing disturbances to maintain a safe environment for all hotel occupants.

Qualifications

• Duties focus on security, safety and guest protection.
• Must be able to deploy to multiple duty posts as listed.
• Ability to monitor and defuse potential disturbances.
• Collect information to identify potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Perform security and fire safety duties to ensure the safety and security of the hotel, associates, hotel guests, visitors and their properties.
• Deploy at duty posts: Security Control Room, Lobby and Driveway, Patrolling and Observation, Handle Casual Labour cash float.
• Keep peace and order within the premises of the Hotel in dealing with criminals, trespassers or difficult characters.
• Conduct surveillance of members of public to protect the hotel guests, visitors and associates to keep the peace by:
• Monitoring any undesirable elements to ensure that they do not harass, harm or embarrass the hotel guests or associates
• Take appropriate action to defuse any outbreak of violence or commotion within the Hotel premises
• Intelligence gathering, of the identities and activities (modus operandi) of undesirable elements
• Surveillance of associates:
• Ensure that associates abide by the House Rules
• Monitor movements of associates who are classified as suspects under investigations
