Job summary

MERCURE SINGAPORE BUGIS is seeking a Marketing Communications Assistant to support planning and execution of the hotel’s campaigns. The role will help develop strategies, manage content and images, and coordinate promotions across F&B and accommodations.

The ideal candidate will have a marketing communications background, 1 year in hospitality, and strong English communication. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in marketing communications or related field.
• At least 1 year of work-related experience in the hotel or hospitality & travel industry.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is an added advantage.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Independent and willing to learn.
• Good working attitude and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications in planning, directing, and implementing the Hotel’s marketing communications activities.
• Assists in developing marketing and communications strategies and initiatives.
• Assists in managing the Hotel’s content and images through regular website audits.
• Assists the Hotel’s email database and e-communication activities.
• Assists in overseeing filming and photoshoot activities.
• Assists in all promotions for food and beverage and accommodations.
• Coordinating marketing and communications campaigns/activities to leverage reach/results.
