Job summary

InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay is seeking a dedicated Engineering Manager to support the Chief Engineer in overseeing the hotel's engineering and maintenance operations. You will lead a small team to ensure safety, efficiency, and guest comfort.

You will drive preventive maintenance, manage budgets, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with IHG standards. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• 3–5 years of engineering or maintenance experience in hospitality or commercial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of M&E, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Willingness to work on-call, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of engineers and technicians.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and respond to guest issues.
• Coordinate engineering support for hotel events.
• Maintain facilities in line with IHG brand standards.
