Job summary

InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay is seeking an Engineering Manager to support the Chief Engineer in overseeing hotel engineering and maintenance operations. Lead a small team to ensure safety, efficiency and peak guest comfort across all systems.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, energy efficiency and adherence to IHG brand standards, with on‑call responsibilities as operationally required. Join a culture focused on excellence, teamwork, and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• 3–5 years of engineering or maintenance experience in hospitality.
• Good technical knowledge of M&E, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Prior supervisory experience in a facilities or hotel maintenance setting preferred.
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to troubleshoot technical issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of engineers and technicians to ensure smooth hotel system operations.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members.
• Conduct regular safety talks and maintenance meetings.
• Promote teamwork between Engineering and other hotel divisions.
• Support Chief Engineer in fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
