CRAIG ROAD PROPERTY HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a maintenance professional to ensure equipment and building fabric are kept to a high standard so guests feel the facility is well cared for.

You will carry out maintenance duties, supervise tools, uphold fire safety systems, log daily irregularities, and contribute to energy conservation and guest satisfaction while supporting capital projects and ongoing maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

To carry out maintenance duties as required
To work under supervision in areas covered by statutory regulations (gas, electric, etc.)
To supervise the issue of tools relating to the Engineering department and their safe return
To ensure that the Engineering workshop is at all times maintained in clean and tidy condition
To act as part of fire party under direction of security when required
To ensure that all reported maintenance issues are completed in a timely manner and that any issues that are not able to be resolved immediately are handed over to the engineering supervisor
To ensure that that all preventative maintenance is carried out as directed by senior engineering personnel
To report daily by log book to the Engineering Manager all irregularities during his shift
To be able to prioritize all jobs on hotel expert in order to maximize guest satisfaction and minimize disruption to guests and staff alike
To be fully aware and trained on the fire panel and procedures to be component in the event of an emergency
To have full knowledge on all fire safety systems within the hotel
To ensure that the water treatment and water testing is being carried out
To prepare annual PM plan and monthly maintenance status report
To arrive at work at the correct time, correctly dressed in a well-maintained uniform. Ensure that the highest standards of personal hygiene are maintained at all times
To handle any guest complaints promptly and with follow up, referring to others when necessary
To follow key signing procedures and take responsibility for assigned keys
To participate on hotel energy conservation system
To assist other trades within the engineering department where necessary
To work under direction of the appointed representative of the Director of Facility Management
To incorporate all of the core values in the day to day practice of being an engineer
To work as part of the team on projects, Capital Expenditure projects and ongoing maintenance programs
To check plant equipment on a daily basis to ensure that all plant is running and report / repair any faults found.
To communicate to all departments when necessary to ensure good work environment between departments
Be able to act quickly in the event of any emergency situation or if any fire safety systems activate
