Job summary

Singapore General Hospital Pte Ltd. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity.

You will provide high-quality rehabilitative care, working with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement tailored treatment plans that help patients regain independence and improve quality of life. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, design individualized interventions, and support patients and families with education on self-care and independent living.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognized Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• AHPC registration is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Committed to improving patient outcomes and independence.
• Proficient with occupational therapy equipment and assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
• Design and deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions to aid in recovery and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to set and achieve measurable goals for patient progress.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families to promote self-care and independent living skills.
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry practices and technologies.
