Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimally completed primary education with at least 1 year of experience in restaurant/kitchen environment.
• Able to handle large-scale cooking operation and production.
• Able to read, write and speak simple English.

Responsibilities

• Check, verify and prepare mise-en-place for the day’s menu and portion meals as instructed.
• Follow procedures to ensure correct portions, textures and temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen and equipment.
• Assist in menu planning and recipe documentation with R&D and tasting.
• Record storage, wastage and stock levels and support patient meal services.
