Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking to specification and plating standard.
• Ability to operate commercial cooking equipment.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe storage practices.
• Familiarity with daily purchasing and receiving of goods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure freshness of ingredients and proper food preparation.
• Cook food items accurately to specifications and plate according to standard presentation style.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers or griddles.
• Monitor the food par level after each meal period.
• Ensure areas of responsibility are clean, tidy and organized.
• Assist in daily purchasing and receiving of goods.
• Ensure proper hygiene practices based on Hygiene policies and proper storage methods are always followed.
• Any other tasks as assigned by Management
