Job summary

Parkway Hospitals Singapore Pte. Ltd. at Mount Elizabeth Hospital seeks a service-minded individual to assist in patient dietary services and cafeteria operations. You will help in meal preparation, portioning and delivery, while maintaining hygiene and par-stock levels throughout the day.

The role requires teamwork, adherence to sanitation standards, and ability to work shifts as part of a hospital catering team. Prior service experience is helpful, with training provided by the department.

Qualifications

• All education levels accepted for this role.
• Completed NEA or basic hygiene courses on sanitation and hygiene or food handling.
• Experience in hotel, restaurant, or institutional service is preferred.
• Ability to work shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, arrangement and serving food for patient dietary needs and cafeteria.
• Maintain par-stock levels for dry and raw items.
• Ensure proper standards and tools for portioning and cooking techniques.
• Attend scheduled training and development programs.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors.
• Observe hygiene, safety and sanitation guidelines during work.
• Serve food at staff cafeteria.
• Prepare dietary carts for meal delivery to wards.
• Remove garbage and maintain cleanliness of outlets and areas.
• Report hygiene or equipment issues to seniors and chefs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
