TOUCH COMMUNITY SERVICES LIMITED seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver essential home-based OT services for elderly clients, supporting the Senior OT in daily operations and ensuring care aligns with local guidelines.

You will assess, plan, and document treatments, conduct home safety reviews, train caregivers, and help staff via ongoing education. Join a team dedicated to high-quality community care.

Formación

• Minimum Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AHPC-recognised programme.
• Registered Occupational Therapist under the Allied Health Professions Act.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in occupational therapy, preferably geriatric.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, develop, implement and document OT treatment plans for elderly clients.
• Conduct home safety assessments, modify environments and prescribe assistive equipment.
• Provide caregiver training for ADLs in home settings.
• Conduct training sessions for staff and volunteers on home safety and fall prevention.
• Participate in clinical workgroups to contribute to guidelines and programs.
• Liaise with caregivers and coordinate referrals to colleagues or external providers.
• Assist in implementing and evaluating clinical programmes.
• Supervise OT students during placements.
