Job summary

TutorJohn Learning Centre in Singapore seeks a Full-Time Tutor to deliver engaging lessons for Primary and Secondary students, monitor progress, and help develop the in-house curriculum.

You will use TutorJohn's materials, provide feedback to students, communicate with parents when needed, and participate in team meetings. Working hours are 5 days a week, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, with some weekend sessions; salary ranges from S$3,300 to S$4,000 monthly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Strong academic background in the subjects taught.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, patient, and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging tuition classes for Primary and Secondary students to enhance learning outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver lessons using TutorJohn's in-house curriculum and teaching materials to ensure consistent quality.
• Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback to guide student improvement.
• Monitor students' academic progress and identify areas requiring additional support.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with parents regarding student performance when required.
• Assist in lesson planning, curriculum enhancement, and development of teaching resources to improve instructional effectiveness.
• Support school holiday programmes, revision workshops, and enrichment classes to extend learning opportunities.
• Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and centre events to foster collaboration and professional growth.
• Maintain a positive, organised, and professional classroom environment conducive to learning.

Job Summary

As a Full-Time Tutor at TutorJohn Learning Centre, you will deliver engaging lessons, monitor student progress, and contribute to curriculum development to support student success in Primary and Secondary education.

Other Information

Location: Choa Chu Kang/Tampines, Singapore

Working Hours

• 5-Day Work Week
• Weekdays: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
• Weekends (where applicable): Morning/Afternoon classes
• One weekday and one weekend day off (subject to operational needs)

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Salary: S$3,300 - S$4,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
