Job summary

TutorJohn Learning Centre in Tampines, Singapore, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Tutor to deliver engaging tuition classes for Primary and Secondary students, using our in-house curriculum and teaching materials to maintain consistent, high-quality lessons.

You will monitor progress, mark assignments, provide constructive feedback, contribute to lesson planning and curriculum development, support holiday programmes, and collaborate with a friendly team to foster a positive classroom

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Strong academic background in the subjects taught.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, patient, and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging tuition classes for Primary and Secondary students to enhance learning outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver lessons using TutorJohn's in-house curriculum and teaching materials to ensure consistent quality.
• Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback to guide student improvement.
• Monitor students' academic progress and identify areas requiring additional support.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with parents regarding student performance when required.
• Assist in lesson planning, curriculum enhancement, and development of teaching resources to improve instructional effectiveness.
• Support school holiday programmes, revision workshops, and enrichment classes to extend learning opportunities.
• Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and centre events to foster collaboration and professional growth.
• Maintain a positive, organised, and professional classroom environment conducive to learning.

Job Summary

As a Full-Time Tutor at TutorJohn Learning Centre, you will deliver engaging lessons, monitor student progress, and contribute to curriculum development to support student success in Primary and Secondary education.

Other Information

Location: Tampines, Singapore

Working Hours

• Weekdays: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
• Weekends (where applicable): Morning/Afternoon classes
• One weekday and one weekend day off (subject to operational needs)

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: S$3,300 - S$4,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
• Performance Bonus: Annual Wage Supplement (AWS / 13th Month Bonus) upon completion of 12 months
