Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related field.
• At least 3 years hands-on lab experience with high-power electrical equipment.
• Ability to operate and maintain three-phase power equipment, motor drives, and power converters.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and high-voltage practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• High-Power Equipment Operation & Maintenance—Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain three-phase high-power equipment and motor drives.
• Equipment Procurement, Asset Management & Write-Off—Manage lifecycle of lab equipment and liaise with vendors.
• Financial Administration (Staff & Student Reimbursements)—Process claims and reimbursements via the university financial system.
• Teaching Laboratory Preparation—Prepare, set up, and check experimental rigs; develop lab manuals and safety materials.
• Laboratory Safety & Regulatory Compliance—Serve as lab safety coordinator and train users on safety protocols.
• Inventory & Consumables Management—Monitor stocks and raise purchase orders to replenish.
• Lab Access & User Administration—Manage access accounts and support visitors during demonstrations.
