Qualifications

Responsibilities

Changi Airport Group is on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative professional to take on the role of High-Level Control Manager for our Baggage Handling System (BHS). This essential position ensures the smooth processing and timely delivery of passenger baggage, a critical component of our operations. As the key overseer of the High-Level Control (HLC) system, you will be instrumental in maintaining its peak performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the BHS Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contractor to ensure the HLC system operates at optimal levels, achieving high availability and adhering to cybersecurity standards.
• Analyze system data and use analytics tools to identify potential risks and performance issues, and develop strategies for improvement.
• Lead and manage trials and projects aimed at enhancing the BHS HLC system through the adoption of advanced technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve network and software issues efficiently, conducting thorough investigations to prevent future problems.
• Oversee the end-of-service (EOS) and end-of-life (EOL) of software and hardware, ensuring timely upgrades and replacements.
• Define project requirements, procure resources, and manage system innovation and improvement projects, including Site Acceptance Testing.
• Implement the Business Continuity Plan in response to BHS failures, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Work with BHS O&M contractors and cybersecurity consultants to ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and the Cybersecurity Code of Practice.
• Maintain adherence to ISO 27001 and the Critical IT Infrastructure (CII) Code of Practice, including conducting annual vulnerability assessments and managing associated risks.
• Foster strong relationships with authorities, external agencies, consultants, vendors, and Changi Airport Group stakeholders.
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years managing enterprise-level IT networks, with relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
  

Skills:

• Expertise in IT network infrastructure and security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and computer hardware systems.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools and project management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools is advantageous.
