Job summary

Ministry of Health Singapore seeks professionals to formulate regulatory policies for licensable healthcare services and to conduct licensing inspections and audits under the Healthcare Services Act (HCSA). Qualifications

• Education in healthcare-related disciplines or Law preferred.
• Experience in policy formulation, regulation/governance, strategic planning, healthcare operations or inspections/audits preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare institution is an advantage.
• Uphold rules and regulations with integrity and honesty to safeguard patient safety and welfare.
• Demonstrates good leadership and managerial skills.
• Strong policy and report writing skills.
• Good planning and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to front licensing inspections and audits with hospital and clinic licensees independently.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Formulate regulatory policies for licensable healthcare services to safeguard patient safety, welfare and public interest.
• Coordinate licensing inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Plan and develop new licensing inspection and audit frameworks and processes under the HCSA.
• Assist in establishment, administration and enforcement of new regulatory requirements.
