Job summary

NUHS Education & Research Office is seeking a Data Coder (Assistant Manager) on a 2-year contract to empower data-driven research and education initiatives. You will work to translate clinical and business needs into actionable data insights.

You will prototype PoCs, engage stakeholders, and help scale solutions, while guiding the Data Insight Unit's operations and knowledge sharing across teams. This role requires a background in CS/Analytics and hands-on ML, Python, SQL, and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare data and AI ethics considerations.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with ability to prototype quickly.
• Understanding of ML models and healthcare data standards.

Responsibilities

• Support data-driven projects aligned with clinical and business goals.
• Assist with engagement and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support PoC and PoV initiatives and scale solutions with hands-on or vendor management.
• Own end-to-end process from gathering and translating requirements for data-centre outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration on goals, resources, timelines and metrics.
• Contribute to the operations and growth of the Data Insight Unit (DIU).
• Support day-to-day team operations for smooth execution.
• Capture best practices and promote knowledge sharing and consistency.
• Participate in internal improvement initiatives for team sustainability.
