Job summary

Green Avenue Home for the Elderly in Singapore is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, hygiene, mobility assistance, and daily living support. You will monitor residents for comfort and safety, ensuring a compassionate and attentive environment.

The role involves assisting with bathing, toileting, meals, mobility, and daily tasks, along with regular bed linen changes and resident transport within the facility.

Qualifications

• BCLS trained or equivalent is preferred.
• Caregiver/Nursing qualification is required.
• At least 1 year of working experience in a Nursing Home.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare residents for baths and bathe them.
• Assist residents who need help to toilets and bathrooms.
• Perform personal hygiene duties for residents.
• Transfer residents to dining area and to bed.
• Clean and tidy residents after their meals.
• Tidy up residents' beds daily and change bed linen weekly or when necessary.
• Check and change diapers every 4 hours and when necessary.
• Help in serving meals, feeding residents and clearing used crockery.
• Send residents to and from dining area, rehabilitation room and dormitories.
• Attend to all residents' needs and call bells.

About the role

About you

• Preferably Basic Cardiac Life Support Trained

• Relevant Nursing qualification, e.g. Caregiver Certificate (Nursing)

• At least 1 year of working experience in similar position in a Nursing Home

• Able to communicate with all levels of staff
