Job summary

MDI Fortune Pte Ltd is hiring Healthcare Assistants to join our hospital operations team in the East of Singapore. You will support patient care by transporting patients, equipment and supplies in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will work 7:00am – 7:00pm or 8:00am – 8:00pm, six days a week, collaborating with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow, safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, hospital portering, logistics, cleaning, facilities management or other service environments will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Safely transfer patients between wards, departments, diagnostic centres, procedure rooms and operating theatres.
• Support patient flow within the Emergency Department and facilitate imaging appointments, admissions and discharges.
• Transport essential items throughout the hospital including medical equipment, consumables, records, blood products and linen.
• Assist clinical services and hospital teams with day-to-day operational requirements and communicate professionally with patients and staff.
• Follow hygiene, infection control and hospital procedures to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Use mobile devices to receive assignments, update task status and report operational issues.

Healthcare Assistant – Hospital Operations Services

MDI Fortune Pte Ltd is looking for dedicated and responsible Healthcare Assistants to join our hospital operations team.

If you enjoy a hands‑on role, working with people and being part of a team that directly supports patient care, this could be the opportunity for you.

You will play an important role in ensuring patients, medical equipment and essential supplies move safely and efficiently throughout the hospital, particularly in a fast‑paced Emergency Department environment.

Work Location

Hospital in the East of Singapore

Working Hours

7:00am – 7:00pm OR 8:00am – 8:00pm
6 days work / 1 day off

What You Will Do

Patient Transport

• Safely transfer patients between wards, departments, diagnostic centres, procedure rooms and operating theatres.
• Use wheelchairs, stretchers, trolleys or beds according to patient and operational requirements.
• Support timely patient movement, particularly for appointments and time‑sensitive procedures.

Emergency Department Support

• Support patient flow within the Emergency Department.
• Facilitate imaging appointments, admissions, discharges and peri‑operative movements.
• Carry out urgent and time‑critical tasks, including blood runs, when assigned.

Hospital Logistics

Transport essential items throughout the hospital, including:

• Medical equipment
• Consumables and supplies
• Medical records
• Blood products
• Linen
• Other clinical and operational materials

Patient & Clinical Support

• Assist clinical services and hospital teams with day‑to‑day operational requirements.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families and hospital staff.
• Handle deceased patient transfers with dignity, respect and confidentiality, where required and within the scope of duties.

Hygiene & Infection Control

• Follow hospital cleaning and hygiene procedures.
• Comply strictly with infection prevention and control requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.

Technology & Reporting

• Use mobile devices/apps to receive assignments and update task status.
• Report operational issues promptly and accurately.
• Follow established hospital procedures and work instructions.
