Job summary

Singapore Buddhist Welfare Services invites caring individuals to join our team as a full-time healthcare helper. You will assist residents with daily living activities, meals, and medication administration under policy guidelines.

Role includes simple clinical tasks, activity coordination, housekeeping, and administrative support as needed. We value reliability, empathy, and teamwork in a supportive community environment.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate or NiTEC in Healthcare or Nursing is required
• At least 1 year of working experience in a related field is required

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to maintain independence in activities of daily living.
• Assist to prepare and serve meals to residents.
• Assist to serve pre-packed medication to residents according to the organisation's medication policy.
• Organise and conduct recreational and social activities for residents.
• Encourage participation in suitable activities, including exercise, games, puzzles and group activities.
• Carry out weekly simple clinical tasks such as weighing residents and taking vital signs.
• Ensure the working environment is clean and perform routine housekeeping as required.
• Assist with administrative support work when assigned
• Keep and check inventory as required
• Any other duties as assigned by superiors

• Assist in organising and conducting recreational and social activities.
• Encourage residents to participate in suitable activities, including exercise, games, puzzles and other group activities.
• To carry out weekly simple clinical tasks e.g.weighing of residents and vital parameter taking
• Ensure working environment is clean and perform routine housekeeping as and when required.
• Assist with administrative support work when assigned
• Keep and check inventory as and when required
• Any other duties as assigned and instructed by superiors

Qualification Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Healthcare or Nursing.
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Full Time

2 rotating shifts, 4 days work week
