The Opportunity
The President of Asia Pacific is taking direct leadership of the regional go-to-market organization, including the three-market Business Development / GTM Heads (North Asia, Greater China, Southeast Asia) and the Customer Success Heads. The President sets strategy, sets focus and owns accountability. The Head of Sales Operations makes that model work at scale. This leader runs the commercial operating system for APAC: pipeline and forecast discipline, deal governance, bid, solution and pricing execution, performance measurement, and the GTM review cadence that connects them. They are the President’s right hand across hunting and farming. They turn commercial intent into plans, plans into rhythm, and rhythm into results. This role calls for a commercially fluent operator who can challenge a market head on a forecast, redesign a pricing approach on a large deal, and brief the President in ten minutes on what is actually happening in the pipeline, and who is trusted to do all three.
The Responsibilities
- Run the APAC GTM and Customer Success commercial cadence: weekly pipeline and deal reviews, monthly market business reviews and quarterly GTM planning. Own agendas, data, decisions and follow-through.
- Act as the President’s proxy on commercial matters: represent the President in commercial forums where appropriate, drive decisions to closure and elevate early and clearly.
- Translate APAC commercial strategy and Future Forward priorities into market-level GTM plans, targets and initiatives, and track delivery against them.
- Prepare commercial performance materials (pipeline, bookings, wins and losses, strategic pursuits) for the President, global leadership and executive reviews.
- Lead GTM strategic initiatives such as vertical plays, AI and digital offer launches, new-market entry and partner programs.
- Own the APAC pipeline management framework: stage definitions, qualification standards, hygiene, coverage ratios and conversion metrics across new-logo and existing-client growth.
- Own the regional forecast: bookings, TCV/ACV, revenue conversion and ramp, with defined commit and best-case discipline and forecast accuracy targets reported to global.
- Build and run the APAC performance scorecard: market, account and seller-level KPIs, win rates, cycle times, margin at signature versus plan, and account expansion and retention.
- Lead territory, account segmentation and target-setting with Finance; support quota design and incentive plan administration with HR and Global Sales Compensation.
- Own CRM adoption and data quality (e.g., Salesforce) and the regional reporting and analytics stack; turn data into insight and action, not just dashboards.
- Drive account planning standards for strategic clients, including whitespace analysis, relationship mapping and cross-sell of TP.ai, digital, trust & safety and back-office solutions.
- Lead the APAC Bid Management, Solutions Design and Pricing teams. Set priorities, allocate capacity across markets and pursuits, and raise the quality and speed of responses.
- Own the deal qualification and bid/no-bid process so resources go to winnable, margin-accretive opportunities.
- Run the APAC deal review and approval process in line with global Delegation of Authority: commercial terms, pricing, risk, margin and delivery feasibility.
- Ensure solutions reflect how APAC clients now buy: AI-plus-human delivery, automation and productivity commitments, outcome- and transaction-based pricing, multi-country and multilingual footprints, and data residency and regulatory needs.
- Build reusable assets: solution blueprints, pricing models, benchmarks, case studies and win themes, working with global solutions and TP.ai teams.
- Lead structured win/loss analysis and feed insights back into offers, pricing and market strategy.
- Partner with the Customer Success Heads to set a common farming operating model: account health, QBR standards, renewal and expansion pipeline, and at-risk account management.
- Track and report revenue retention, expansion, renewal risk and client satisfaction signals; flag risks early and coordinate recovery plans with Operations.
- Make sure hunting and farming work from one view of the client, one pipeline and one set of numbers.
- Hold senior market leaders to agreed commercial standards without direct line authority over them, using the President’s mandate, data and credibility.
- Build and develop a high-performing sales operations, bid, solutions and pricing team across a multi-country footprint.
- Serve as the regional counterpart to global Sales Excellence, Finance, Legal and Marketing on commercial processes, tools and policies.
- Work closely with the Chief of Staff to the President so GTM cadence, actions and materials fit into the wider APAC leadership rhythm.
First 90 Days
- A single APAC GTM cadence in place and running, with standard reviews and clear decision rights.
- One trusted APAC pipeline and forecast view, with agreed definitions across all three markets and Customer Success.
- Bid, solutions and pricing priorities reset against the top pursuits, with clear bid/no-bid discipline.
- A baseline commercial scorecard and a prioritized improvement plan agreed with the President.
The Qualifications
- 12+ years of commercial experience, including at least 5 years leading sales operations, commercial excellence or deal management in B2B services. BPO, CX, IT services, consulting or managed services strongly preferred.
- Proven ownership of a regional pipeline and forecast in a complex, multi-country, long-cycle, high-TCV sales environment.
- Hands-on experience with bid management, solution design and services pricing (FTE, transactional, outcome-based and hybrid models) and deal governance.
- Strong command of APAC markets, with working experience across more than one of North Asia, Greater China and Southeast Asia, and an understanding of how buying behavior differs between them.
- Excellent analytical skills: fluent with CRM (Salesforce preferred), Excel/financial modelling and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
- Executive presence and the credibility to influence and, when needed, challenge senior market leaders, and to represent the President with global leadership.
- Experience leading and developing multi-country teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Experience as Commercial Director, Head of Sales Excellence or Head of Deal Management for a regional President, CEO or CCO.
- Exposure to AI, automation and digital transformation offers and how to price and position them against labor-based incumbents.
- Management consulting background combined with operating experience.
- Languages: English essential; Mandarin, Japanese, Korean or a Southeast Asian language an advantage.
