Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. seeks a dynamic and strategic leader to driveSoftware Quality Assurance across multiple dimensions, championing quality excellence, engineering innovation and continuous improvement in Singapore.

Lead a 50-person team spanning white box, automation and manual testing, and own company-wide QMS, governance, and quality gates through the SDLC, while collaborating with Engineering, Product, Design, Security and Support for a quality-driven development culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering & quality experience, preferably in distributed/cloud-native systems.
• 6+ years in QA leadership, managing teams of around 50 through leads and heads.
• Proven ownership of a company-wide QMS or quality governance framework.

Responsibilities

• Own & continuously improve company-wide QMS, quality standards, policies and quality gates.
• Drive QA controls, checkpoints and definitions of done across the full SDLC.
• Lead defect prevention, root cause analysis, and process improvement.
• Oversee application testing including coverage, automation, non-functional testing and defect management.
• Establish and maintain release, change and emergency change governance.
• Embed quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and ensure governance compliance.
• Define governance for AI-generated code & AI-powered testing, including evaluation, regression & safety controls.
• Own quality metrics, dashboards, reporting, budget, tooling and vendor management.
• Lead & develop the quality organization across QA, testing and automation.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Design, Security & Support to embed quality throughout the lifecycle.

• Leading & Overseeing a team of 50 across White Box Testing, Automation and Manual Testing

• Key point of contact to the Group of Tech (working with multiple entities)

• Salary up to $12k + AWS + Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own & continuously improve company-wide QMS, quality standards, policies and quality gates.
