Job summary

Kerry Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a leading technology and analytics organisation in Asia for a Head of Product Engineering in Singapore. The role leads product engineering strategy, architecture and delivery across digital products and platforms.

Reporting to the Chief Technology & AI Officer, you will build scalable, secure platforms, strengthen engineering practices and develop high-performing teams to boost delivery, quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• Senior software engineering leadership with track record in building and scaling digital products and platforms.
• Strong depth in modern software architecture, cloud-native engineering and distributed systems.
• Experience in fintech, insurtech or other regulated and data-intensive industries.
• Exposure to large organisations and startups/scale-ups would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead product engineering strategy, architecture and delivery reporting to the CTO.
• Work with Product, Data, AI and Business teams to build scalable, secure platforms with cloud-native development, microservices, APIs, CI/CD and DevOps.
• Build and develop high-performing engineering teams and drive improvements in delivery, quality and productivity.

Our client is a leading technology and analytics organisation in Asia looking to appoint a Head of Product Engineering based in Singapore. This is a senior leadership role responsible for building and scaling the engineering function behind its digital products and platforms.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Technology & AI Officer, you will lead product engineering strategy, architecture and delivery. You will work closely with Product, Data, AI and Business teams to build scalable, secure and reliable platforms, while strengthening engineering practices across cloud-native development, microservices, APIs, CI/CD and DevOps.

You will also build and develop high-performing engineering teams and drive improvements in delivery, quality and engineering productivity.

Requirements

You are an experienced software engineering leader with a strong track record of building and scaling digital products, platforms and engineering teams. You should have strong technical depth in modern software architecture, cloud-native engineering and distributed systems.

Experience in fintech, insurtech or other regulated and data-intensive industries would be highly relevant. Exposure to both large organisations and startup or scale-up environments would be advantageous.
