Our client is an institutional-grade digital asset exchange and trading venue built for regulated markets. Backed by leading financial institutions, they provide secure, compliant, and high-performance infrastructure for trading, clearing, and settlement of digital assets. Their mission is to bridge traditional finance with the digital asset economy, enabling institutions to trade safely and efficiently.

This role sits in the management team and requires close collaboration with business, technology, operations, and external institutional partners.

You will shape the product vision, optimize capital efficiency for institutional clients, and lead the development of a market-driven product roadmap focused on trading infrastructure, derivatives, and collateral enablement.

About the Role

• As Head of Product, you will oversee the full product lifecycle, build strong product propositions, and drive high-impact market solutions in a fast-evolving, regulated environment.
• Success in this role requires strong derivatives expertise, strategic depth, solution-selling capability, stakeholder influence, and the ability to operate hands‑on in a startup environment.
• You will play a critical part in expanding our collateral framework, enabling integrations with global custodians, and building the next generation of institutional digital asset infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product strategy, roadmap, milestones, and dependencies aligned with firm priorities and market demand
• Develop compelling product propositions, GTM plans, and business cases
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and opportunity sizing
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to co‑create new product and service concepts and identify target markets, customer segments, distribution partners, and commercial opportunities
• Perform P&L analysis, build value propositions, and structure institutional workflows
• Lead product performance reviews; drive remediation plans and approvals with Product Committee
• Prepare product training for internal stakeholders to support sales and client engagement
• Manage complex product launches and integrations across risk, compliance, operations, and technology
• Support capital efficiency tools, margin model enhancements, and derivatives workflow improvements

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields
• Minimum 12 years relevant working experience strong understanding of derivatives markets including options, margin models, and institutional trading workflows
• Experience in crypto spot/derivatives trading infrastructure, or traditional markets with transferable skills would be preferable
• Proven ability to manage complex product launches in fast‑paced, evolving environments
• Experience working cross‑functionally with risk, compliance, operations, and technology teams
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
• Ability to thrive in a high‑ownership, startup‑speed environment, strong institutional knowledge; crypto‑native curiosity is a preferable, extensive industry network with strong relationship‑building skills

You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with problem‑solving skill. Intellectual curiosity, strong professional judgment, work independently and have initiative mindset. Entrepreneurial mindset with experience starting and building businesses from scratch.
