Job summary

OpenText in Singapore seeks a senior leader to build and run the Partner Ecosystem across APJ+MEA, guiding Distributors & Resellers, System Integrators, ISVs & CSPs. You will own development, engagement, and success of the ecosystem and report to the Head of Partner Ecosystem & Programs for APJ+MEA.

You will lead a team, drive the annual plan, collaborate with executive stakeholders, and foster win:win partnerships while maintaining governance and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of direct or virtual people management.
• Experience operating in APAC markets including A/NZ, Greater China, India, Korea and SEA.
• Enterprise software sales/management experience (direct and indirect).
• Experience with large software vendors such as SAP, Microsoft, AWS and/or Google.

Your Impact

Reporting to the Head of Partner Ecosystem & Programs for Asia Pacific Japan Middle East & Africa (APJ+MEA) , this role is responsible for building & leading the team that owns the development, engagement, contribution and success of the Partner Ecosystem across Asia Pacific. We are seeking a leader that has the capacity to grow the team along with the year over year business growth in 4 key segments: Distributors & Resellers, System Integrators, ISVs & Cloud Service Providers.

• Accountability for managing & reporting the progress to plan throughout the year.
• Applying a data driven approach to business planning & reporting
• Engaging all stakeholders internally & externally to realize the business plan.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to craft win:win scenarios.
• Supporting & leading a team in planning, partner engagement, enablement, demand generation, pipeline management, contracting & transacting and customer success.
• Learning & sharing best practices with other regional partner leaders and stakeholders.

What You Need To Succeed

• Proven track record of direct or virtual people management.
• Previous experience operating in our key Asia Pacific markets, including Australia & New Zealand (A/NZ), Greater China (China, Hong Kong & Taiwan), India, Korea & South East Asia (SEA).
• Previous enterprise software sales and management experience (both direct and indirect).
• Experience of working with large software vendors particularly SAP, Microsoft, AWS and/or Google is valuable.
• Strong business acumen and capable of developing and managing strategic plans with partner and company executives and challenging the status quo.
• Proven history of analysing situations, employing creative and effective decision making to solve problems/achieve results.
• Outstanding written/verbal communication skills and excellent negotiating skills and ability to present to both small and large audiences.
• Ability to create leverage via your sphere of influence vs sphere of direct control
• Embracing process excellence & policy adherence.
