Job summary

AsiaPhilanthropy Circle seeks a Senior Director, Membership & Engagement to lead the membership experience ecosystem and end-to-end engagement strategy. You will work with the CEO to deepen member value, improve participation, and build trusted relationships across APC’s regional community.

You will balance operational discipline with relationship-driven programmes, leading through colleagues and external partners to sustain impact and growth within a small, entrepreneurial NGO.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in the impact/philanthropy sector or donor engagement is strongly preferred.
• Evidence of building processes and systems in growing or evolving teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead membership ecosystem, engagement strategy and operations across APC programmes and markets.
• Oversee membership lifecycle from prospecting to onboarding and renewal with clear ownership.
• Guide member marketing, events, and convenings, ensuring consistent value messaging.
• Strengthen CRM and data insights to support segmentation and reporting.
• Partner with CEO on organizational planning, budgeting and risk management.
• Support cross-team collaboration to deliver learning, connections and collaboration within the community.
